Creative Accents Art Glass is the vision of Joan Garrett Wilson. While working through college selling Fine Jewelry, she earned a Bachelor's Degree at the University of Georgia in 1982. Continuing to work with Fine Jewelry and pursuing interests in different media of the arts, an opportunity to work with a local Stained Glass artist was offered and accepted.

An apprenticeship with Classic Lights Art Glass Studio allowed for development in the techniques of building and restoration of the artform of stained glass. As a result, Creative Accents Art Glass was formed in 1994. Because of Joan's dedication and noticed work, in 1999 she was awarded a contract to build nine stained glass presentations of her original design to be presented by the Junior League of Athens, GA. The recipients included high profile individuals including Zell Miller, the Governor of the State of Georgia at the time.

Other works include numerous custom designed windows for high profile clients and two nationally known celebrities. Our mission statement has always been the commitment to uncompromising quality and excellence in design, restoration and workmanship.
